Domiciliary Care

In addition to our own supported living units , Step Ahead Care Services also provide domicliary support teams for individuals who are able to live in the comfort of their home. Domiciliary services are offered to a wide range of clients, including those with developmental disorders, autism, mental health issues, physical disabilities, and elderly people with dementia or Alzheimer’s.

24 hour domiciliary care and services, for those wishing to remain as independent as possible in their own homes, are available through Care Organiser, part of the Care Expertise Group. Adopting a truly personal approach and committed to the best quality care and support, services include personal care, undertaking domestic tasks, rehabilitation and social support, and are designed to enable greater independence, always taking account of the individual’s needs and wishes.

In addition to care provided in the client’s own home, domiciliary services are also available to people in supported living accommodation. Live in care, home from hospital care, end of life care, and respite care are also offered through Care Organiser™.

Step Ahead Care’s domiciliary teams support service users to live their own homes and in the community by helping with everyday activities such as shopping, meal planning and preparation, travel, managing finances, learning, employment, social relationships, leisure and much more. Each individual also recieves a regular one to one support from their designated member of the support team, their key worker.
